Hello!

Hi, I’m Nitzan.
My name translates to "flower bud" in Hebrew, a meaning that has always felt fitting. I've always been drawn to nature and to helping people grow, heal, and reconnect with themselves.
My journey into therapy began early. When I was about ten years old my mom came home with severe back pain. Wanting to help, I instinctively began massaging her.
She soon felt much better, smiled, and said:
“You have healing hands.”
That moment stayed with me and planted the first seed of the path I would one day follow.
Today, my work brings together movement, hands-on therapy, and personalized whole-body care.
Outside of the clinic, nature is where I love being.
I enjoy hiking, running, rock climbing, and practicing yoga.
I live in Brooklyn with my husband, where I continue to build a practice that helps women feel safe, understood, and supported through every stage of motherhood.
My Professional Journey

I began my physical therapy journey in 2018 at Tel Aviv University (BPT), and as a licensed physical therapist in Israel I developed a deep fascination with the human body, movement, and healing.
Alongside my training as a PT, I completed advanced training in Pilates instruction, medical massage, and prenatal care, and opened my own clinic in Tel Aviv, working primarily with pregnant and postpartum women.
After moving to New York in 2023, I completed my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree at Arcadia University and postgraduate training in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy through Herman & Wallace.
Becoming a certified birth doula has been a natural extension of my work. It allows me the privilege to support women not only through pregnancy and recovery, but also during one of the most meaningful transitions of our lives.
Completing my training in the Ilan Lev Method added a whole new dimension to my practice. Built on listening through touch, it reminds me that the body often communicates long before words can.
I am currently completing my PT licensure in the United States and until then my practice is devoted to helping women feel more at home in their bodies.
My Personal Story
My life experiences and desire to make a positive impact have led me to become a therapist.
I grew up in a small village near Tel Aviv with my wonderful parents and two brothers. At the age of 14, during a relocation to Germany, my mother was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer (metastases were throughout her every bone). Three years later, back in Israel, I was diagnosed with cancer as well.
My mother and I went through surgeries and chemotherapy side by side. After four years of fighting, my mother sadly passed away in 2011.
I continued treatments and eventually healed completely.
Living through illness at such a young age taught me the value of compassionate care, resilience, and the profound impact of human support, especially during life’s most transformative moments. These experiences shaped my decision to dedicate my life to improving quality of life, and in particular - empowering women to feel stronger, more connected, and at home in their bodies during times of deep change.
After graduating high school with honors, I volunteered and served as an officer in the IDF's intelligence unit for nearly four years.
My fascination with the human body and a desire to understand its intricacies made physical therapy a natural career path for me.
Today, I live in Brooklyn, NY with Urik, the love of my life since we were 18, and I’m healthier than ever.
