What I often get asked
It’s important to me that you feel fully informed and confident when deciding to have me as your therapist.
Browse through the information below, and if you have a question that isn’t included here, feel free to reach out!
How can I schedule a treatment with you?
Your first time? Welcome!
You are invited to explore the programs and treatments and choose the most suitable fit for your needs.
Once payment has been received, I will contact you to schedule our treatment. Be sure to provide your correct contact information so that I can reach you.

What is your Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy?
Time is the most precious resource we have on earth.
After we've scheduled, I will guarantee that time is set aside for you, and I will not accept any other booking requests.
However, it's no secret that life is unpredictable. Plans are constantly changing, and the calendar regularly needs to be adjusted.
With respect to your time, mine, and others - Rescheduling or cancelling appointments must be made at least 24 hours before the treatment. Afterwards, full payment will be required.
This policy allows me to serve my clients better and ensure my time is spent efficiently.
I appreciate and thank your understanding.
What should I expect during a bodywork session?
Before we begin - we will have a small checkup talk so I can carefully adapt the techniques to your individual needs on the same day providing safe and effective care.
During the session, you will lie on a massage table on your stomach, back, or side.
During pregnancy, it may look and feel different from other times. You will not lay on your stomach, and the pressure will feel very light. Specific areas of your body will get more attention (like the lower back, the shoulders, and the neck), while others will be deliberately avoided (like the heels and other areas of the legs).
What to wear for sessions and how to be prepared?
-
Whatever makes you feel comfortable is the right thing to wear. I generally recommend loose-fitting clothing, preferably with light long sleeves or layers to help you stay warm.
-
If there are any specific instructions, I'll send them to you beforehand.
-
You will be asked to remove any jewelry before the session, so it may be better for you to leave them at home.
-
It is recommended to arrive at least 2 hours after your last meal to avoid any discomfort or pressure in your stomach.
-
Please arrive 15 minutes before our scheduled time - that way, you'll have time to relax, and I'll be able to perform a quick checkup at the beginning of the session while still enjoying a full hour of massage.

Is your bodywork beneficial for everyone and always?
No bodywork is perfect for every person at every moment - and that’s a good thing. The right approach is the one that’s right for your body, at the right time.
Bodywork offers many well-established benefits for the muscles and joints, the nervous system, circulation, and overall well-being. However, there are situations where it’s best to wait or modify the approach. Also, it may not be appropriate if:
-
You’re feeling unwell or have a fever.
-
You’ve recently had surgery or experienced an acute injury.
-
You’re in the first trimester of pregnancy, unless there is a specific reason to receive bodywork and your healthcare provider recommends it.
If you’re ever unsure, just ask me - Together, we’ll decide on the safest and most appropriate approach for your body.
Is it painful?
Some techniques used during bodywork may feel intense or slightly uncomfortable, especially when working with areas of tension or restriction. However, you should always feel safe, able to breathe comfortably, and in control.
Throughout the session, we'll stay in open communication and adjust the pressure or approach as needed to ensure your comfort and the best possible outcome.
For pregnancy sessions, the touch is always gentle and should never be painful.

How often should I schedule a session?
Most people will benefit from regular maintenance routine and the ultimate frequency can vary depending on your personal needs and goals.
As a rule of thumb, I recommend receiving session every 1-2 weeks. This will allow the body to enjoy the accumulated benefits, and you will soon experience gradual pain relief and relaxation.
Are you a licensed physical therapist?
Yes - in Israel, where I trained and ran my clinic.
I hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Arcadia University and am currently completing my licensure in the United States.
Until then, my New York practice is devoted to other bodywork methods, like the Ilan Lev, movement education, and birth support as a Doula.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept Zelle, Venmo, cash and Wire transactions
